The CoffeeBoy Review
A coffee-and-flower-shop hybrid named after the owner's mother. Navi is the kind of place that makes you slow down, and you didn't even know you needed to.
The Story
Founded by Razzy Ghomeshi, Navi is named after his mother Navideh — "good news" in Farsi — who is also the head floral designer. Razzy drew inspiration from New York and European front-porch coffee culture, and you feel that influence the moment you step onto the covered porch with its bird feeders and hanging plants.
The coffee-and-flower-shop concept is unique in Miami. It's family-run in the real sense — not the marketing sense. You can feel it in the warmth of the service, the care in the flower arrangements, and the fact that they remember your name by your third visit.
What to Order
The Yuzu Matcha is the CoffeeBoy pick and it's not close. Bright, citrusy, and completely different from any matcha you've had. The yuzu lifts the matcha out of its usual earthiness and into something that feels like a mood booster.
Pair a House Latte with the Persian Pistachio Cake and you've got the Navi experience in two items. The cake is dense, nutty, and subtly sweet — the kind of thing you'll dream about later. The house lattes rotate seasonally, and they're always well-pulled.
On a warm afternoon, the Iced Hibiscus Tea is light, floral, and pairs perfectly with the porch vibes.
The Experience
Navi is quiet. Intentionally, beautifully quiet. The front porch has wooden tables, bird feeders, and just enough shade. Inside, the coffee bar shares space with the flower shop — you're ordering a latte while someone next to you is putting together a bouquet. It's European café energy filtered through Coconut Grove warmth.
This is one of the best work-from-café spots in Miami, full stop. The Wi-Fi is strong (40 Mbps tested), outlets are plentiful along the indoor bar and porch, the noise level is low, and the staff genuinely doesn't mind if you camp for hours. The seating is comfortable enough for a full work session. I've written entire project briefs here.
Free parking in the back lot is a rare Miami win that cannot be overstated.
The Verdict
Navi is where you go when you need a coffee shop that feels like a hug. The flower-coffee hybrid concept works because it's not a gimmick — it's just how this family expresses care. Best work spot in the Grove, and the yuzu matcha alone is worth the visit.

Chug's Diner
Not technically a coffee shop — it's a Cuban-American diner with a ventanita. But if you've never ordered a colada through a little window while pastelito crumbs fall on your shirt, you haven't done Miami coffee right.
Honey Veil
The viral matcha spot in South Miami with the honey whip that ruined every other matcha for me.
The Coffee
Brazilian coffee meets Japanese minimalism in Wynwood. The Coffee just landed from across the world and it already has main character energy.
